Tucson, rising.
Why Tucson, why now
New industry. New people. Not enough homes.
Southern Arizona is growing fast. Defense, copper, semiconductors and technology are hiring, and employers are bringing in workers from across the country. They all need a place to live. Tucson already needs thousands more homes, and very few have a view like this one.
Defense & aerospace
Tucson is a national center for missile development. Raytheon, the city's largest private employer, has about 13,000 people here, and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base sits at the edge of town. In 2026 Raytheon signed agreements to make two to four times more of some key missiles, and Tomahawk deliveries tripled. That means more engineers and technicians.
A global copper center
About 70% of the copper mined in the United States comes from Arizona, and some of the largest mines in the country are near Tucson. In October 2026, Hudbay and Mitsubishi approved Copper World, a $2 billion mine south of Tucson: more than 1,000 construction jobs, 500 permanent jobs and up to 3,000 more in the region.
The new chip capital
TSMC has announced plans to invest about $165 billion in chip plants in Phoenix, about two hours up the I-10. Arizona aims to become the center of advanced chip-making in the United States, and suppliers are following.
Technology & data
Construction of Project Blue, Pima County's first hyperscale data-center campus, started in 2026, and Marana has approved a second 600-acre campus to the north. The University of Arizona and the optics companies of "Optics Valley" add research and skilled jobs.

The setting
The Tucson Mountains, at your door.
The house sits in the saguaro-covered Tucson Mountains on the west side of the city. Hiking trails, desert parks and famous sunset viewpoints are close by. Tucson Mountain Park and Saguaro National Park keep large areas of desert nearby free from development. The city, the university and the airport are an easy drive away, and Marana, the fastest-growing town in Pima County, is a short drive north on Silverbell Road.
Tucson was the first city in the United States named a UNESCO City of Gastronomy. It has a real food scene, a historic downtown, and mountains on every side.
